Issue/Introduction

 Incremental sync stuck after the initial sync is completed for a VM on vSphere Replication.

Failed quiesce using snapshots for (groupID=GID-xxxxxxxxx-xxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx (instanceId=replica-xxxxxxxxx-xxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx) (vmID=3): Fault cause: vmodl.fault.SystemError

Environment

vCenter server
vSphere replication appliance

Resolution

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

1. Remove any existing  snapshots on the VM.
2. Re-attempt the replication on the VM.
