Issue/Introduction

We are receiving false alarm in ntp_response probe. For example, through admin console we are disabling the alarm below:

"last_sync_offset_alarm_limit_enabled" and "time_drift_alarm_limit_enabled" alarms are off on AC, it is saved as "yes" in cfg.

But in the IM console and raw configure these changes are not reflected.

Environment

  • DX UIM 23.4 CU3
  • ntp_response v1.43

Resolution

Save a screenshot of the ntp_response.cfg or just the ntp_response.cfg file for later reference (not restoring).

Then, follow these steps:

1. Rt-click and delete the ntp_response probe v1.43.

2. Then delete the ntp_response folder on the file system.

3. Then using AC or IM, deploy the ntp_response v1.44 on the robot.

4. Reconfigure the probe as needed.

5. Retest/check the AC and IM to make sure the keys are properly updated.

6. Then check any/all ntp_response provbe alarms from that robot.

Alarm issues resolved.
