Issue/Introduction

  • Running the following command on a multimode Operations for Logs cluster does not show all nodes in the cluster.
    • nodetool-no-pass status

       

  • On the 'Cluster' tab of the 'Management' menu, all nodes show as connected. 

     

Environment

Aria Operations 8.14 and later.

Cause

This is caused by token collision within the Cassandra cluster. There may be more than one node missing in larger environments, but in a three-node cluster, only one node can be missing.
