Unable to re-install WSS Agent

Issue/Introduction

When installing WSS Agent getting following error

"Symantec WSS Agent' (wssad) could not be installed.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services."

Environment

Windows OS

WSS Agent

Cause

Leftover registry entries and Files/Directory which were not removed properly from previous WSS Agent failed install/uninstall.

Resolution

Follow the steps mentioned in article to manually uninstall the WSS Agent
