Issue/Introduction

Seeing the following after the upgrade to 3.4 and roll back to 3.3.

Going to the Adminconsole, it takes the browser directly to Signin/ page, with the error

unauthorized cross tenant operation
Error 8100039

 

Cause

The problem occurs when there's an IdP policy in 3.3.x, and then upgrade to 3.4, and add RulePriority to the IdP policy in 3.4.

Now, when rolling back to 3.3.x, the rulePriority is not in 3.3.x IdP policies, and it causes issues in OPA.

So, the OPA doesn't come up, and throws errors, due to which this issue is seen.

Resolution

The issue is fixed in VIP Authentication Hub 3.3.6.

So, before upgrading to VIP Authentication Hub 3.4, upgrade first to 3.3.6, and then when upgrading to 3.4 and roll back to 3.3.6, this issue will not be seen.
