vCenter "Sync Updates" stuck at 10%

Issue/Introduction

After running "sync updates" task in the lifecycle manager, the task stuck at 10% on the UI 

Environment

• vCenter 7.x
• vCenter 8.x

Resolution

1. Run the 'Sync Updates' task again
2. Search the keyword 'com.vmware.vcIntegrity.lifecycle.SyncDepotsTask' in /var/log/vmware/vmware-updatemgr/vum-server/vmware-vum-server.log to get the task ID, eg: 5288dc3e-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-34b218a25239.
3. Monitor the log output and ensure the task completed successfully. Keyword: "Task State updated to SUCCEEDED".
4. If the task is completed successfully, it proves that no error was found on the backend of vCenter to sync updates.
5. Reboot vCenter to eliminate the stale 'Sync Updates' task on the UI
