Issue/Introduction

• SSL change with HA trying to renew the ssl by removing and reading HA 

   

• Got the following error when replacing the machine SSL certificate in a vCenter HA environment
  "Error occurred while fetching tld: Invalid input certificate : The Subject of the provided certificate does not contain the correct CN value"

Environment

VMware vCenter Server

Resolution

1. Referenced KB: vCert - expired certificate replacement script to replace the vCenter Machine SSL certificate. 
2. Ran through option 3 Manage Certificates > option 1 Machine SSL certificate > Selected the option for Custom Certificates > Replaced with a Custom CA-signed certificate and key.
