Unable to Log Into Aria Automation Post Install

Issue/Introduction

After installing Aria Automation using the Easy Installer in Aria Lifecycle, you are unable to log in with the account configured during install.

The domain is set to "System Domain"

You get the error "Your username or password is incorrect"

Environment

Aria Automation 8.x
Aria Lifecycle Manager 8.x

Cause

The username or password does not match what was used for the installation

Resolution

Validate that the user and password that are configured and authenticate with these credentials.

1. In LCM go to Lifecycle Operations > Environments > View details of the globalenvironment > Product

2. Take note of the "Default Configuration Admin Username" and "Default Configuration Admin Password" that are listed
   

    

3. Then view the password in the Locker to ensure that the correct credentials are being used by going to VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle > Locker > Passwords > Click the vertical ellipsis for the Password Alias that was listed under "Configuration Admin Password" in Step 2 > Click View Password > Enter the root password for the Aria Lifecycle Appliance > Validate and View Password 

4. Log in using the "Default Configuration Admin Username" noted in step 2, and the password obtained in Step 3
