Unable to update Tanzu Backup Locations CA Bundle using the Data Solution UI

CA Bundle Expired in Data Solution

 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Data Solution 1.x

Cause

Users are unable to use Data Solution after the certificate expiration in Tanzu Backup Locations

Resolution

1. List all backup locations and find the location you want to update
GET /cloudapi/1.0.0/entities/types/vmware/dsBackupLocation/0.1

2.  Update the location with location id & modified body (e.g. caBundle in base64):
PUT /cloudapi/1.0.0/entities/urn:vcloud:entity:vmware:dsBackupLocation:aeb225dd-af3a-447d-beb7-ef95974ea1ef

Additional Information

Convert the certificate into base64
