Issue/Introduction

When navigating to Products > Networking > NSX-T in Usage Meter 9.0, the NSX-T endpoint displays a status of "Incomplete Collection". Additionally, the following error message is observed: Could not detect cpuCores for host node with id <host id>. Skiping it from reporting.

Environment

Usage Meter 9.0

Cause

The host IDs referenced in the error message are in an inconsistent or unavailable state within NSX-T. As a result, Usage Meter is unable to retrieve CPU data for these hosts, causing the overall NSX-T data collection to be marked as incomplete.

Resolution

Verify the status of the affected host(s) in the NSX-T Manager interface. Resolve any discrepancies—such as powered-off, disconnected, or misconfigured hosts—within NSX-T to ensure proper data collection by Usage Meter.
