Spontaneous undefined errors with vCenter cluster tasks reporting issues

Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:

"A general system error occurred" error is observed on vCenter tasks.

The issue is related to a specific cluster where hosts cannot be moved into maintenance mode, which is required to install the HBR VIB on the hosts.

Environment

vSphere Live Recovery 9.x

Resolution

1) Verify that the firmware on all ESXi hosts is compatible.

2) If required, upgrade the firmware on all ESXi hosts to ensure compatibility and help resolve the issue.
