Issue/Introduction

When trying to access a remote Db2 from the Sysview for Db2 for z/OS (IDB2) Insight CLIST, the following error message displayed:
DBG55092E Data Collector Not Active

Resolution

For this particular situation, the problem was caused by the SYSPARMS DATA-SHARING option being disabled. Enabling the the SYSPARMS DATA-SHARING option from NO to YES resolved the problem.
