Issue/Introduction

For VMware Cloud on AWS customers, the Usage Feed role within the Broadcom Support Portal provides users access to detailed usage data for cost analysis, chargeback processes, internal reporting, and forecasting.

Users with the Usage Feed role applied to their Broadcom Support Portal profile will have the ability to:

• Monitor and reconcile cloud consumption for accurate billing.
• Integrate usage data into internal financial systems or dashboards.
• Track trends and optimize cloud spend.

Resolution

To request the Usage Feed role, please complete one of the following two actions:

1. Request your User Administrator apply the Usage Feed role to your profile. If you do not know who your User Administrator is please contact Broadcom Customer Care. 
   
   The User Administrator can apply the Usage Feed role by navigating to My Tools / Users and Permissions / editing the user profile and applying the Usage Feed role. 
   
   
   
   
2. If you do not know who your User Administrator is or you do not have a User Administrator within your organization please contact Broadcom Customer Care for further assistance. 

Once the Usage Feed role has been applied to your Broadcom Support Portal profile you can navigate to the QTC Consumption - Billable report by navigating to the Broadcom Support Portal / VMware Cloud Foundation Dashboard and clicking the Usage Feed link from the Quick Links widget. 

NOTE: The application of the Usage Feed role may take up to 12hrs to sync to your profile.
