after regenerating and compiling an external function that has some constants defined on parameters to another program, in older versions of 2E, version 7.0, the constants remain a constant/literal string. However, at 8.7, they are not put into an array and the field length defaults to 14. In test case scenario, the string is only 6 characters so it cause decimal issues because the extra spaces push additional data out so did not line up.
