Resolution

There is no version 12.9 for the SiteMinder Web Agent. SiteMinder follows a "Mixed-Mode" compatibility model where the Policy Server version is typically higher than or equal to the Agent version (1).

• Compatibility: As per the SiteMinder Platform Support Matrix, Policy Server 12.9 is fully backward compatible with Web Agent 12.52 SP1 CR11 and all versions of Web Agent 12.8.x (2).
• Latest Version: The current most recent major version for Web Agents is 12.8.x (3).
• Upgrade Path: If you are running an older Web Agent (such as 12.52) and wish to modernize your environment alongside a 12.9 Policy Server upgrade, you should upgrade your agents to the latest available 12.8.x (4).
