Issue/Introduction

In the Staffing - 'Resource Availability' portlet, when the Resource Availability in the period is 0, and it has assignments in the same period, the value is not colored according to the Threshold configuration.

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Create a Project with one year duration, eg I Jan - 31 Dec 2025
2. Allocate a labor resource to the project.
3. Set resource calendar to non workday for the whole of July 2025
4. Create a Task with same duration as project and assign the resource to the task.
5. In the Task - Assignment page enter 40 hours of ETC for against the resource
6. In Mux User Profile Settings page, navigate to 'General' page and in the 'Thresholds' section
7. Set 'Over Allocation' to 5%, set 'Over Assignment' to 5%, set 'Over Color' to 'Red'
8. In Modern UX navigate to Staffing - 'Assignments by Resource' page.
9. In 'View Options' page select 'ETC' in 'Assignments Display' section
10. In the 'Resource Availability' portlet, filter for resource used in step 4 above and view data for July 2025

Expected: The cell for July 2025 to be colored in 'Red' since Assignment exceeds Availability

Actual: The cell for July 2025 is not colored and does not take configuration in Threshold coloring.

Environment

Clarity 16.3.1, 16.3.2

Resolution

This is currently working as designed.
To determine the color, the application computes the percent utilization which is Allocation divided by Availability.
When the Availability in a period is zero, we cannot compute the Percent Utilization to determine the color.
