Issue/Introduction

Unable to uninstall Siteminder using the uninstall script.

Environment

12.8.x

Cause

Unable to uninstall Siteminder using the uninstall script.

Resolution

The uninstaller will be in the following path:

<Install_Dir>/CA/siteminder

1) Change to the Siteminder directory

cd <Install_Dir>/CA/siteminder/

2) Set the policy server environment variables

. ./ca_ps_env.ksh

3) Uninstall the Policy Server

./ca-ps-uninstall.sh

 

If this doesn't work, then you can simply delete it from a Linux OS:

cd <Install_Dir>/CA/

rm -r siteminder
