CDM is not reflecting updated disk size after disk is extended on VM

Issue/Introduction

The CDM probe is not reflecting the updated disk size after the disk is extended on the VM.

This is only happening for C: drive, for rest status is reflecting correctly. 

The GUI for Total disk size is not showing current total disk size on Windows

Environment

• DX UIM 23.4.*
• CDM any version
• Windows

Cause

Cached / Retained System disk_status information

Resolution

After a disk shrink or disk extend on the C: Drive, if the CDM disk size value in the CDM GUI is not showing the current value: 

 

1. Stop the CDM probe and wait for it to be completely stopped

2. Activate the CDM and check again 

 

If after this the CDM is still showing an incorrect disk size restart the robot and check again.
