Database connection failures from Load Balancer acting as port forwarder

Issue/Introduction

End users can connect to database through the coordinator but any connections using the load balancer is failing with timeout error (load balancer error).

 

 

 

 

Resolution

The issue is with the configuration of the Load Balancer.

Try checking to see if the Load Balancer forwards to an IP or to a FQDN.

If it is an FQDN, then see if the load balancer can resolve the FQDN with the new DNS server configured.
