All SRM sites are missing from Aria Orchestrator inventory after installing 8.18.1 Cumulative Update #2

Issue/Introduction

After installing Aria Automation/Orchestrator 8.18.1 Cumulative Update #2, SRM sites no longer display in the Orchestrator inventory under the SRM plugin.

VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Plug-In for VMware Live Site Recovery 9.0.1.

Cause

This issue is caused by security hardening implemented with the release of Cumulative Update #2.

Resolution

Restore Aria Orchestrator (Automation, if using embedded Orchestrator), to the pre-update 2 version, as current versions of the SRM plugin are not compatible with Cumulative Update #2.

A new version of the Orchestrator Plug-In for VMware Live Site Recovery (SRM) will be released with compatibility with Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.18.1 Cumulative Update #2.

Interoperability between vRA code versions, SRM plugin versions and SRM server versions:

• vRA 8.18.1 GA - compatible with SRM plugin 9.0.1.0, 9.0.2.1, 9.0.2.2, 9.0.3.0 and 9.0.4.0
• vRA 8.18.1 patch 1 - compatible with SRM plugin 9.0.1.0, 9.0.2.1, 9.0.2.2, 9.0.3.0 and 9.0.4.0
• vRA 8.18.1 patch 2, patch 3 and patch 4 - compatible with SRM plugin 9.0.4.0

*Generally the SRM plugin requires the same version of SRM server unless it is a minor version or a hot patch difference. This means SRM server 9.0.1 will work with SRM plugin 9.0.1, 9.0.2.1, 9.0.2.2, but NOT 9.0.3.0 and 9.0.4.0. 
SRM server 9.0.3.0 or 9.0.4.0 will work with SRM plugin 9.0.3.0 or 9.0.4.0
