Internal Server Error occurs when mounting ISOs from a catalog in VMware Cloud Director

Issue/Introduction

• When attempting to attach an ISO from a catalog to a VM in VMware Cloud Director, an error similar to the following occurs:
  
  Internal Server Error
  
  
• In the logs, entries similar to the following are encountered related to the failed task:

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Cause

The media files for the catalog have been moved or deleted outside of VMware Cloud Director in the underlying storage infrastructure.

Resolution

Remove and recreate the catalog items.
