Requests in Aria suite lifecycle manager are stuck and never completes

Issue/Introduction

Request keeps on running and never completes

System Details throws the error  "Failed to fetch system information" 

Inventory sync or any request shows the below error in the logging. 

Log location:/var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrlcm.log 

YYYY-MM-DDT##:##:##.###Z ERROR vrlcm[####] [scheduling-1] [c.v.v.l.a.c.MachineRegistry]  -- Exception occured while getting flow :
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /data/vm-config/vmrepo/systemflowrepo/pr/productPatchingNotification/productPatchingNotification

Environment

Aria suite lifecycle manager 8.x

Cause

This issue can occur if vm-config directory is missing or deleted under /data

Resolution

Restore Aria suite lifecycle manager from a valid backup and re-run inventory sync of the products available

or

Re-deploy Aria suite lifecycle manager and reimport the products.
