Requests in Aria Suite Lifecycle manager are stuck and never complete

Issue/Introduction

• Request keeps on running and never completes

• System Details throws the error  "Failed to fetch system information"

• Inventory sync or any request shows the below error in the logging

• Log location: /var/log/vrlcm/vmware_vrlcm.log 

  ERROR vrlcm[####] [scheduling-1] [c.v.v.l.a.c.MachineRegistry]  -- Exception occured while getting flow :
java.io.FileNotFoundException: /data/vm-config/vmrepo/systemflowrepo/pr/productPatchingNotification/productPatchingNotification

Environment

• Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x

Cause

This issue can occur if vm-config directory is missing or deleted under /data directory.

Resolution

Restore Aria Suite Lifecycle manager from a valid backup and re-run inventory sync of the products available

or

Re-deploy Aria Suite Lifecycle manager and reimport the products. (Note: Use the vCenter "Deploy OVF Template" option to deploy the Aria Suite Lifecycle appliance.)
