Grayed out certificate cannot be removed

Issue/Introduction

• A certificate is in the UI, but cannot be deleted (the delete option is grayed out). 
• The certificate does not have a UUID.  The ID field contains the certificate name.
  
• The certificate is not used (the "Where Used" column shows 0).
• Searching in the NSX UI for this name returns only this object.

Environment

• VMware NSX 4.x
  
  

Cause

• During an initial attempt to remove the certificate, a problem within the block of code responsible for dealing with certificate deletions resulted in the certificate becoming stale.

Resolution

• Resolved in NSX 4.2 for future certificate deletions, However, once a certificate gets into this stale state, upgrading to 4.2 won't fix or delete it. Please open a case with Broadcom Support for assistance with getting it removed.
