Issue/Introduction

I have installed the New Unified Infrastructure Agent in a server that does not have Internet access, but there is alocal Proxy.
I have configurated the below settings:

uia.o2.connector.proxyUrl
uia.o2.connector.proxyHost
uia.o2.connector.proxyUserName
uia.o2.connector.proxyPassword

I can see the Agent in DX O2 Inventory but it doesn't appear in Agent Command Center, from the apmcctrl.log it appears there is an issue registering the server and the agent is unable to connect to SaaS endpoint

ERROR 3632 [taskExecutor-7] --- c.c.a.a.controller.core.ControllerBean   : Cannot register agent "...|UnifiedInfrastructure|Agent" - no valid accUrl/token provided

How to configure the Unified Infrastructure Agent(UIA) when using a Local Proxy?

Environment

  • DX O2 SaaS
  • DX O2 OnPremise

Resolution

1. Deploy CloudProxy, see documentation, for OnPrem, for SaaS

2, Reconfigure the Unified Infrastructure Agent(UIA) configuration so that it to connect to the CloudProxy

Option 1) [RECOMMENDED] Use the Agent Command Center (ACC)

Option 2) Update directly the the <UIA-HOME>/core/config/IntroscopeAgent.profile

a) Update the agent property agentManager.url.1, see connect "New Agents to CloudProxy

b) If you have updated the uia.o2.connector.proxy* properties: undo the changes'

3. Redeploy or restart the new Agent version
