Sensor Install fails with "Failed to register: Appliance service API call returned error" against Sensor Gateway

Issue/Introduction

Error in Installation log:  

ERROR Custom Action CARegisterSensor failed. Failed to register: Appliance service API call returned error Return code : 1603

Environment

• Sensor Gateway: All Supported Versions
• Carbon Black Cloud Sensor: All Supported Versions

Cause

Invalid Sensor Gateway configuration on Cloud side with multiple Sensor Gateways registered to the same IP address.

Resolution

1. Login to Carbon Black Cloud console, and navigate to Settings>API Access.
2. Click the Sensor Gateways tab
3. Delete any duplicate/unused Sensor Gateway records. 
4. Each IP address should only have 1 Sensor Gateway record associated with it.
