Seeing time gaps in Aria Operations and vSAN adapter metrics collection

Issue/Introduction

Small gaps in data points are seen in Aria Operations vSAN metrics graphs.  

Environment

vCenter 7.0U3
Aria Operations version 8.16

Cause

There is a timeout issue with communication between vCenter and Aria Operations.

Error seen in Aria Operations:

2024-11-21T23:52:37,108+0000 ERROR [########] (128036) com.vmware.storage.helper.vimapi.VimApiImpl.getVsanClusterHealthSummary - Unable to query vSAN health summary for cluster: vSAN Cluster(########)

 

Resolution

Upgrade vCenter to a version higher than 8.1.
