DX UIM database sizing SKU for Azure VM

Issue/Introduction

You have a request from Azure to resize the database VM from current SKU (Standard_E16ads_v5)  to a recommended sku (E8ads_v5) for cost saving.  You want to know if this would be an acceptable SKU for the database server.

Resolution

Broadcom does not have specific information on Azure SKUs.  We recommend following the guidance given in the sizing document located here:

This document serves as a starting point.  You may choose to monitor the performance (CPU/Memory Usage) of the DB Server over time and decide from there if more or fewer resources are needed.
