When you are creating a VMware vSphere virtual machine, there is no option to select Oracle Linux 10 guest operating system. This issue is observed on virtual machines with virtual hardware versions 20 and 21.
Virtual machine hardware version 22 introduces new selections for Oracle Linux 10.
Refer Virtual machine hardware versions to determine which VMware product releases support this virtual hardware version.
On vSphere 8.0.x, you can select Oracle Linux 9 as the Guest OS instead.
