Unable to Integrate Aria Automation with Aria Operations using a AD user from vIDM

Issue/Introduction

You are trying to Integrate Aria Automation with Aria Operations using a AD user from vIDM but getting errors like 'Unauthorized' or 'Invalid Credentials'

Environment

Aria Operations: 8.17.2

Aria Automation: 8.18.1

VMware Identity manager : 3.3.7

Please Note:

• It is observed that the username field works with a format like 'User@AD@AD@vIDMAuthSource' where:
  • User: username of the user after importing in Aria Operations
  • AD: AD source name in VIDM
  • vIDMAuthSource: Name of the VIDM authentication source in Aria Operations.
• Make sure the username is imported from vIDM authentication source in Access Control page and explicitly provided at least Read-only privileges on all objects.
