Issue/Introduction

Upgrade is stuck after kicking off a manual upgrade with no progress.

Manual upgrade from command line: /usr/lib/loginsight/application/sbin/loginsight-pak-upgrade.py /tmp/VMware-vRealize-Log-Insight-x.x.x-<build>.pak succeeds pre-checks.
Upgrade starts but stalls at attempting upgrade.

Resolution

Rename the older version of linux-*.cfg 

e.g.

mv linux-5.10.226-6.ph4.cfg   linux-5.10.226-6.ph4.cfg.bak

Re-run the upgrade.
