How to create or edit profiles in bulk or via template for the ntp_response probe

Issue/Introduction

There are no documented methods for creating many profiles for the ntp_response probe in bulk or via templates.  How can this be accomplished?

Environment

• UIM 20.4, 23.4+
• ntp_response - all versions through at least 1.44

Resolution

There are no supported methods for adding, changing, deleting ntp_response profiles in bulk or using templates.

It could be possible to edit or copy/paste profiles manually in the .cfg file.  Editing the probes .cfg file requires care to backup the original file, update the appropriate keys, and avoid corrupting the existing configuration.
