Issue/Introduction
After upgrading their API Gateway (virtual appliance) from version 11.1 to 11.1.2. Following the reboot, all systems were functioning as expected.
However, today they encountered an issue where we were unable to log in using the Policy Manager. Restarting the ssg service temporarily resolved the problem and allowed them to log in again.
Unfortunately, the issue recurred after a certain period.
Upon further investigation, they observed that the login issue consistently reappears exactly 50 minutes after the service is restarted.
They have reviewed the logs and identified a relevant entry, which is highlighted in yellow in the log snippet below:

Resolution
The platform patch to update the appliance to debian 12 was not applied before installing the gateway upgrade.

For version 11.1.2 of the Appliance Gateway, the following update files are required (PMS 2.0.0 required):
Gateway Application Patch (Layer7_API_Gateway_Debian_v11.1.2-20313.L7P) - This is the application patch that will allow you to update Gateway version 11.1.1 to 11.1.2
Gateway SSG Platform Update (Layer7_API_SSG_Platform_Update_64bit_v1.12.00-1705-11.1.2-Debian.L7P)
