Storage Column Displays Incorrect Size for VMs in Cloud Director Tenant Portal

Issue/Introduction

When accessing the Cloud Director Tenant portal and navigating to Data Centers > Compute > Virtual Machines in list view, the Storage column displays a VM size that appears significantly larger than the actual disk allocation.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

This is an expected behavior by design.

Resolution

The Storage column in the list view reflects the total size of the VM’s allocated memory combined with all of its disks, not just the disk allocation.
