NSX-t collection error after upgrading Usage Meter to 9.0

Issue/Introduction

Following the upgrade to Usage Meter 9.0, the NSX-T connection status is displaying a "collection error".

Error in the Product Notification: Collection error (NSX-T collection failed in GatewayConfigDetector for server #)

Environment

VCF usage meter 9.0
NSX 4.x

Cause

opt/vmware/cloudusagemetering/platform/logs/dss_error.log:

Caused by: com.vmware.um.collector.UnexpectedResponseCode: API endpoint policy/xxxxx/state on server xx returned HTTP status 500.

Resolution

Install VCF Usage Meter 9.0.1.0 as an in-place upgrade to resolve the issue, follow the below document.
