Individual disk storage policies are not visible in the Cloud Director tenant portal's list view

Issue/Introduction

Log in to the Cloud Director Tenant portal.

Go to Data Centers > Compute > Virtual Machines.

Switch to the list view.

The "Storage Policy" column shows the VM Storage policy only.

The list view does not display the storage policy for individual disks within a VM.

VMware Cloud Director 10.x

Cause

This is expected behavior.

Resolution

By design, the storage Policy column in the list view shows the VM Storage Policy applied to the entire VM and not the policies applied to individual disks.

Disk specific policies are visible when viewing the VM's detailed information under the Details or by clicking the VM.
