In Aria Operations the RESIZE VM(S) button is not available.

Issue/Introduction

The RESIZE VM(s) button is not available going to Capacity > Rightsize.

Permission for the role has Rightsize selected but that only gives access to the menu.

Aria Operations 8.18.x

Cause

Set Virtual Machine permissions are not set so the RESIZE VM(S) button will not display.

Resolution

To display RESIZE VM(S) button:

1. Log in as admin or a privileged user to the UI.
2. Go to Administration > Control Panel > Access Control.
3.  Select the Roles tab.
4. Select the role the user is assigned to and click Edit.
5. In the Search bar type in "Virtual Machine - vCenter".
6. Select the Set Memory, CPU, Power On/Off, and other permissions you want the role to have and hit SAVE:
