STC Ziip CPU Consumption in AAM

Issue/Introduction

In all partitions, the Advanced Authentication Mainframe STC is using permanently Ziip CPU (even in partitions with a limited number of users). Is this normal?

Resolution

The tiny usage of Ziip CPU every second or so is related to the internal multi-threading framework in use. There may be periodic snippets related to garbage collection as well.  As far as the STC being non-swappable, this is related to the fact that the STC has to service requests from other address spaces.
