NAPP Greenfield Deployments Not Supported with NSX 9.0

Issue/Introduction

Customers attempting a greenfield deployment of Network Application Platform (NAPP) with NSX version 9.0 will encounter a pre-check failure during installation.

You will see the below errors on nsxapi.log :

Cause

Support for greenfield deployments of NAPP has been discontinued starting from NSX 9.0

 

Resolution

Customers are advised to transition to the Security Services Platform (SSP), which is the next-generation platform offering extended capabilities.
