Packages content with ZIP Bundles still referencing older version unless a version or runtime is changed and saved.

Issue/Introduction

The issue is affecting the package that contains the polyglot ZIP Bundles

After re-upload the package with updated content using API.

The workflows/actions still refreshing the content of old ZIP bundle, despite the ZIP bundle has been changed.

Here is an example of the action with ZIP bundle

 

Environment

Aria Orchestrator 8.18.1

Resolution

Currently, there is no resolution for this issue, the fix is planned for VCF 9.0.1

Here are the workaround available

a) update package before an export (bump it to 0.0.1 and so on every update), this will trigger the proper logic after the import of the package to use the updated version and not the prior

b) Change something inside the action like, update the version and save or change nodejs version and save so when you run you see the new code version
