Question:
Can DSNTYPE=LARGE be used in the MERGE Procedure for DSNIIN and DSNIOUT to prevent x37 Abends?
Answer:
Due to the current method of using POINT and NOTES for DSNIIN/DSNIOUT, these Data Sets can not be allocated with DSNTYPE=LARGE.
Additional Information:
DSNIIN/DSNIOUT can be allocated as PSE MULTI-STRIPE Files to allow for Multi-Volume Data Sets.
