Error creating a new login in MAI

Issue/Introduction

When we create a new login in MAI, it always takes the same fixed value "APPL1" instead of taking the value of APPLNEW, which was informed by the user.
This problem started to occur after recycling TASK, but there was no change in MAI or in CICS, which passes the DEFLOGON parameters.

Cause

The customer had APPL1 in the Mai Session Default.

Resolution

Ensure the MAI Session Defaults the values needed.

 

You can check it using /ACADMIN.D shortcut.

 

Additional Information

When changes are made to the option there will be a message written to the activity log.

In your activity log ($log or /log shortcut) you should see the following message -
