Issue/Introduction

• After performing a patching or upgrade activity on VMware Aria Operations (vRops), the latest build number is not reflected in the product/admin UI
• You are using VMware Aria Operations Pre-Upgrade Readiness Assessment Tools package (APUAT_Filename.pak) for the upgrade/patch process

Cause

VMware Aria Operations Pre-Upgrade Readiness Assessment Tools (APUAT) is not intended for patching or upgrading the Aria Operations environment

Resolution

• The VMware Aria Operations Pre-Upgrade Readiness Assessment Tool (APUAT) does not apply any patches, upgrades, or alter the build number of your VMware Aria Operations (vROps) deployment
  
  
• To perform an upgrade, please use the appropriate upgrade package and refer to VMware’s official documentation for detailed instructions on upgrading or applying patches
