Fix C22E 13742 (of 8.7.3) and fix C22E 14176

Issue/Introduction
We currently have 2E 8.7 + CUM PTF A and we have fix C22E 14176 received from Broadcom. Now we are in the process planning upgrade to 8.7.4 and we are reviewing all the fixes from 8.7.1 to 8.7.4 and make sure C22E 14176 was published. We couldn't find C22E 14176 but found C22E 13742 in 8.7.3
C22E 13742 - GENERATION DATE & TIME NOT UPDATING WHEN GENMODE = 'S' OR 'L'
that seems to match the description of the older C22E 14176.
Is C22E 13742 (of 8.7.3) the same one as the older C22E 14176? If yes why we have two different fix numbers?

CA 2E 8.7 and higher
Resolution
C22E 13742 and C22E 14176 are the same fix.
The reason for two different numbers is because when you raised an issue with us, then we were in CA 2E 8.7.2 release. So at that time we gave you a fix on CA 2E 8.7 + CUM PTF A, and we gave the C22E 13742. Later we did forward-fit the same fix on top of the 8.7.2 libraries. So we need to create the separate problem number for fixing the same issue in 8.7.2 libraries, i.e., C22E 14176. And then once 8.7.3 was released, we merged these changes in CA 2E 8.7.3. That is the reason you see the C22E 14176 in the fix notes of CA 2E 8.7.3.
Once you upgrade to 2E 8.7.4, then all the old fixes and all features of 8.7.1, 8.7.2, and 8.7.3 are merged in 8.7.4. You don't need to apply any of the old PTF fixes on top of 2E 8.7.4. 2E 8.7.4 is a superset of all the previous releases, which contains all the features and fixes in older releases.
