Unable to add commissioned host to existing cluster - error: Cluster primary datastore is not valid. Cause Unable to find datastore with name xxxxxx for the cluster xxxx

Issue/Introduction

When trying to add a host to a cluster this error is encountered at validation time -

"Cluster primary datastore is not valid. Cause Unable to find datastore with name xxxxxx for the cluster xxxx"

 

Environment

VCF 5.X

Cause

The primary datastore name has changed.

A new primary datastore is being used in the environment - this change has not been reflected in the SDDC Manager database.

Resolution

Please contact Broadcom Support to assist with implementing the resolution.
