There is a gap of approx 30-45 mins in a number of the SLI metrics that are based on UIM data.
What could be the problem?
The issue is related to defect # DE633663 : Incorrect rounding.
IMPORTANT: this issue occurs when using VMware probe that is configure to send metrics at a 10-minute interval and you have deployed DX O2 24.2 HF#4 to support data at 10 minutes internal, for more information see : VMware probe sends metrics at a 10-minute interval
No Workaround available
Solution:
The official fix will be part of the upcoming UIM OIConnector releases.
Attached TEST fixes, you can use them for validation in TEST environments only
Steps to deploy the OI Connector 1.57 test fix
1. Deactivate the currently running OI Connector probe.
2. Now import the oi_connector-1.55-20240716.
3. Deploy the probe from archive
4. Activate the OI Connector probe
NOTE:
After deployment if you look at the oi_connector.cfg file, or may be the RAW Configure, you will notice a new parameter nass_no_timestamp_roundoff_
This new parameter will ensure that the metrics of the probes which have the interval set to 600 sec (10 min) the timestamp rounding off operation will be done on DXO2 side
The value is set by default 600 therefore you may leave it as it is
