VMware Cloud Director does not create "SYSTEM-VCD-EDGE-SERVICES-REDISTRIBUTION" route redistribution policy when importing T0

Issue/Introduction

• After creating a Tier-0 Gateway in NSX and added a Provider Gateway to VMware Cloud Director (VCD) the "SYSTEM-VCD-EDGE-SERVICES-REDISTRIBUTION" on the "ROUTE RE-DISTRIBUTION" on the Tier-0 Gateway in NSX is not added.

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.4.x
VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

The issue has been fixed in VMware Cloud Director 10.6.

WORKAROUND

OPTION 1
Manually add the "SYSTEM-VCD-EDGE-SERVICES-REDISTRIBUTION" in VCD on the Provider Gateway if Ip spaces is used under BGP >  Route Redistribution > Redistribution Rules

OPTION 2
Manually add the "SYSTEM-VCD-EDGE-SERVICES-REDISTRIBUTION" on the Route Re-distribution in NSX on the affected Tier-0 gateway. For additional information visit "To configure route redistribution" on the documentation Add an NSX Tier-0 Gateway
