Windows appear a new drive letter automaticlly

Issue/Introduction

• A new drive letter appears under Windows File Explorer after ESXi upgrade.
• There are no user files on the new drive letter, and the used space is marked as system use and reserved.
• No new vmdk is added to the virtual machine.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 8.x
VMware vSphere ESXi 7.x

Cause

Windows OS/Software does the disk partition automatically.

Resolution

Contact Microsoft support to confirm whether the partition can be deleted.
