Issue/Introduction
This KB outlines the steps to mount volume/VMFS Datastore on vcenter inventory
Environment
VMware ESXi 6.x
VMware ESXi 7.x
VMware ESXi 8.x
Cause
Accidentally unmounted datastore from vcenter inventory
Resolution
From Vcenter UI perform following steps to mount datastore
- Navigate to the datastore.
- Right-click the datastore to mount and select the following options:"Mount Datastore"
- Whether you see one or another option depends on the type of datastore you use.
- Select the hosts that should access the datastore and click "OK"
