Remove stale global permissions of previous domain following a vCenter Server Domain Repoint

Issue/Introduction

Permissions for previous domain still exist under the Permissions tab in vSphere UI.

Environment

VMware vCenter Server

Cause

The global permissions for the previous domain are not deleted following a vCenter Domain Repoint operation

Resolution

VMware Engineering is aware of this issue, and a fix will be provided in upcoming releases.

Workaround:

1. Login to vCenter Server UI.
2. Select the respective vCenter for which domain repointing has been completed in Inventory view.
3. Navigate to the permissions tab.
4. Review and delete the entry with previous domain name.
