SOI escalation action "send email" does not work as expected

Issue/Introduction

A mail sent via Escalation Action does not show the value set in the “From” attribute.
A value created from “SMTP Mail From” and “SMTP Server Domain” from Email Configuration is created.

Cause

Code defect

 

Resolution

1. Stop all the SOI services
2. Take a backup of the following files.
   CA\SOI\tomcat\lib\soi.common.sam-4.2.0-manager.jar
   CA\SOI\SamUI\lib\soi.common.sam-4.2.0-manager.jar
   
3. Replace the above jar from the attached zip file.

4. Start all the SOI services as per the recommended steps.
